As for MADD,
- I glanced at the RE listings for Philly. Looks like they've still got a bit of supply. With many houses not under regular ownership, they're probably hurting property tax-wise. Of course, that's compounded by the over-inflated school budgets....with NO KIDS. Even with the PMI waivers, it doesn't matter if houses aren't full. I checked some of the RE sites, and we could easily afford a pretty nice place up there....notsomuch here inside the Beltway even if it's getting better by the day. I don't think Penna has the same stupid tax laws that Cali does to keep people in houses because the tax bills don't go up.
. On the museum, it's a lot like the Kennedy Center -- privatize it. Completely. They pay their bills from their own revenues. With nobody coming, they'd lose the bullshit very quickly.
