@BrianMcWilliams I haven’t gotten to this week’s MADD yet. But some of what I was talking about w/ schools is about the first 40 minutes of this week’s Reason Roundtable.
I failed at sustaining the public school edifice.

- Eyeroll on JR. But he’s always been that way. He was a Bernie Bro in 16. Then RFKJ in 24.
- Ursula is evil, and the proposal won’t work, BUT….the idea is to increase money circulation. Remember that hard asset ownership in the EU is different. Almost no one owns real estate. So funds get tied up in savings assets that’d be tied up in RE in the US. Understand that Friedman is unpopular, but prices are a function of supply, demand, and circulating money. They’ve juiced the supply all they can (Keynes), but money is still sputtering. So, it’s an effort to replace money supply, which they’re tapped out on with ECB. (UK is in worse shape)
- You missed a BIG PROBLEM for the schools — no kids. There was a big outrage in Montgomery Co., MDDR that the county was going to have to lay off many of its DEI staff with a budget cut. The TV reports carefully omitted the fact that the high schools’ enrollments are down something like 35%
- Russia is doing just fine in the war. ...
FF Reax: Many of my criticism remain unchanged. Where Ziegler is missing the point is that the sort of newly-uncovered revelations were issues for the original trial court. You can’t combine them into a ball of innocence revelation.
There would need to be one single mistake that sticks out.
And since there’s multiple convictions on multiple charges with multiple victims, it’s a monumental lift.
