I tried, but the Massie mourning is too much.
I didn’t dig more-deeply into the weird staffer payoff stories; I don’t care. Everyone in Congress should get the memo — don’t shit where you eat.
But the bigger impetus is the Epstein stuff. Many of the victims entered into a settlement precluding further prosecution. Even if they hadn’t, pretty much everything is past statutes of limitation. And, maybe Andrew excepted, there wasn’t anything there. Even President Clinton gets by.
Epstein killed himaelf.
You can’t prosecute a dead guy.
So, in an act of outrageous self-flagellation, they passed a law to release what would normally be material protected from public virw.
Whatever it was, 429? members of the House put themselves on my I’m-never-voting-for-you list.

Saw that NewsNation was having a special with Stossel tonight about Socialism.
Was kind of what I’d expect. Really expectable audience….including a couple of academic types, one of whom was a Seattle city councilman.
Just ignore what the Democrat Socialist mayor has had to do in the past few weeks.
The last speaker, however, was Iranian, and described what happened with Socialists rounding the Islamic Revolution.
I did watch most of Elizabeth Vargas’s show. Good segments on Cornell 7.
